Carl Rhodes

Carl Rhodes paints a variety of western subject matter in his own unique style of traditional realism. He always tries to create a work of art that is both pleasing to look at and conveys a certain mood. Carl's paintings sometimes tell a story and sometimes have a message, but they all reflect his love of nature and the West. When Carl finishes a painting, he considers it successful only if he thinks it can stand the test of being lived with. He says, "It's not enough that people like my paintings when they first see them, I want to create art that someone will still like after seeing it time and time again."
