Verna David - Navajo belief is that The People emerged into the fourth world, to escape a flood in the lower world. The Place of Emergence is located in northwest New Mexico, in an area known as Dinetah. This area still carries religious, traditional and cultural significance for the Navajo people. |

Sharon Garcia is the granddaughter of the esteemed Santa Clara potter Christina Naranjo. In July 2003, Sharon won the "Best of Show" award at the the Eight Northern Pueblo Show, winning the highest possible award in the show. She says, "I feel very lucky to be able to earn money doing what I love." |

Goldie Hayah - The Acoma are a tribe of the Keres. They are made up of clans, some connected to Hopi and Zia Pueblos. The name Acoma comes from "Ako", meaning white rock and "Ma", meaning people. Their origin belief is of two sisters, Ia'tik and Nao'tsiti, emerging into the world from underground. |

Larry Witt - Larry is a full time wood turner, working out of his studio in Arizona he is mostly self-taught through trial and error with interest mostly in early American Indian pottery and design. Larry uses no stain or dyes as the woods are of their natural color. |
